A wonderful family comedy
This is a fun show for the whole family. The oldest sister of a family made up of adoptees has to take over raising her siblings when their parents are tragically murdered. She was immature in debt and has to grow up quickly. She moves into a household of three brothers working as a maid. A sneaks her siblings in each night to sleep. The brothers fall in love with her and hijinks ensue.
The first two episodes are slow and then the show picks up. Mostly a comedy but near the end it gets a little serious. Since this is a Korean drama the show is more like a miniseries with a satisfying ending. Very worth watching.
Heartwarming Drama - Pick up the Stars
I decided to rewatch Stars Falling From the Sky before going to camp this summer. I watched it 2 years ago and really enjoyed it. I realized that Amazon Prime streamed this show so I was super excited. This means I didn't need to watch commercials (as I had been doing on Dramafever.com and Hulu.) The lead character Palgang (Red in Korean) annoyed me at first, but as she adapted to her role as guardian of her siblings she became quite lovable. The show is about Palgang who has 5 adopted siblings age range 1-13 years old. Their names make up the rainbow but ending in -ng instead of -n. So Palgang = Red, JuHwang = Orange, Noran = yellow, ChoRok = Green, Parang = Blue, Nam = Indigo, and Bora = Purple/ Violet. Their parents die in a car crash and she must take care of them by being the maid at her former crush's house - the cold Attorney GongHa. The rambunctious family changes GongHa, his brother JoonHa and cousin TaeGyu. Really good show and it grows on you. Her brother Parang...
Nami and other children were amazing
From beginning to end, the story had so many twists, that I didn't want to miss a minute. Nami was outstanding as were the other children. The adults just followed along. The setting and scenery made the series even better.
