Faithful reproductions
Although this 12 color film "Family Movie Marathon" collection distributed by Mill Creek Entertainment is described as "Full Screen" format and 1.33:1 aspect ratio, its five newer films have anamorphic wide screen format and 1.78:1 aspect ratio: Jack & the Beanstalk (2010), Elle: a modern Cinderella tale (2010), Spy School (2008), School of Life (TV 2/19/2005), and Spin (2003). The remaining seven films have full screen format and 1.33:1 aspect ratio: Home Team (2000), Hard Knox (TV 1/13/1984), Coach of the Year (TV 12/20/1980), Wacky Taxi (1972), The Pied Piper of Hamlin (TV 11/26/1957), The Big Trees (1952), and The Inspector General (1949). The collection is housed in what looks like a standard "keepcase", but whose insides are modified to hold a stack of three 2-sided DVDs in paper sleeves with two films on each side and therefore should not be handled by young children who cannot be depended upon exercising the caution required to avoid scratches.
